Campaign Statement

I’ve lived in Hemet since 1981, moving from the Coachella Valley.  My father was a mechanic for local farms and my mother was a stay-at-home mom of eight. My wife teaches at Hemet Unified School District, we have three children and four grandchildren. I graduated from Hemet High in 1986 and began a career in real estate in 1991. In 2021, I received my mortgage license to better serve my clients. 

My volunteer service has included President of the local Association of Realtors, Director for the Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors, Director for Habitat for Humanity and family selection Chairman, Measure U Citizen Oversight Committee and ROCS member, President of the Ramona Bowl during the 100th season, and Vice-President of Grandfather’s for Golf. I am a member of the Elks Lodge, Eagles, Masonic Lodge, Rotary, and member of the local Chamber of Commerce's. I believe we must focus on quality of life, taking care of our streets, parks, recreation areas, and promoting affordable housing. We must prioritize economic development by aggressively attracting jobs, promoting a business-friendly environment, staying tough on crime, and supporting our first responders.
